'Nuthatch and Oak' Giclée print
Nuthatches are most commonly found in mature woodlands. This smaller bird is a resident of the UK and seldom travels far from the woods where they hatch. They eat nuts, seeds and insects, and they have a rather curious habit of plastering the outside of their nests with mud. They are the only bird agile enough to climb headfirst down tree trunks, often spotting insects hidden in the bark which other birds might have missed. We have two of these beautiful birds visiting our feeding table, they fly back and forth from the hedgerow for sunflower seeds.
Mounted, wrapped and individually signed Giclée print on archival quality 315gsm soft textured paper, made from an original painting by myself. The overall size of this print with the mount is 10 x 12 inches. This print is an open edition. I use only recyclable and biodegradable materials for posting, even down to my packing tape! All of my art cards are sent in glassine paper sleeves which are 100% recyclable. However, all of my Giclée prints are protected by a plastic cellophane wrap for which there is no clear, acid-free, eco-friendly, and biodegradable alternative at this time. Once it has served its purpose, please dispose of the cellophane wrap responsibly. Thank you.
I am a proud business supporter of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
